Satendra Singh , Xaviers Jaipur ’67 batch has been hosting “Daal-Baati-Churma” dinner every year on Hanuman Jayanti day for over 300 people since last 28 years.
He started inviting his classmates.
The first dinner that I attended was in 2011 when I came to settle down in Jaipur after taking retirement from job.I was visiting a friend of mine who said that his college friend who is from Xaviers and should be around my batch has been hosting this party. He, infact called him on his mobile and made me talk to him. I had not talked or even seen him since 1970 when I left the college to join Indian Military Academy in Dehradun.
He invited me and insisted that I must come.
Satendra has been instrumental in getting many of the classmates getting together more often.
